Went to the i.o.w. on holiday,on way back to ferry we managed to find the paddle steamer ryde,in a very sorry state, i seem to remember this being a bar/restaurant at some point, now you would not want to go on it,the starbord paddle housing has collapesed and the funnel is on the side, there are some large holes in the side of the hull,so sad to see it.

Also went to black gang chine very dear to get in, but had a nice display of old i.o.w ferrys and a couple of restored paddle steamer engines(turning over but not by steam),if you go in there with your families get them to go and find the dinosuars and fairy castle, you can lose yourself in the sawmill and ferry display!!!!!
i have some photos of the engines i will try to get round to updating them!!!!!1
