TAKEN TWO WEEKS AGO IN PHUKET.  BIT FAR AWAY AS I WAS LOOKING AT THE GUY IN THE FIRST PICTURE

Dead easy MCat . quick google and it transpires USS Ronald Reagan was on a routine visit to PHuket on 1.5.11

when your up a mountain (shipping movements from the respective day & time & the exact port area that you are questioning )
are not a thing id tend to remember.

Don't the US carriers normally travel with a battle group? Where are they hiding?

That is true Spooks they do move with a battle group, but can you imagine the chaos ashore if all the ships were to go the same port for a visit,
the other ships will be visiting ports nearby and will then re-form on the Carrier when it is time to go back to sea.

Yep, we hosted the RR and she had a couple of escorts in at the same time, but the rest were off shore waiting.
