hello every one
I am looking for photographs of the USS Hector (Collier # 7) i can only seem to find a couple and there not really good enough to get detail to build a model.
I have also seen a ship that looks identical called the USS Vulcan any help photographs of the ships or even other peoples models would be a great help.
sorry if this is in the wrong section

Hi Mate,
I see in the 1965-66 Janes, she had 3 sisterships, Vulcan was one built in New York, the other two where Ajax and Jason built in Los Angeless as was Hector. Afraid only one small photo of the Vulcan. Hector's pennant no was AR7.

Thank you for your help on that

Hi, thats okay, have you tried the U.S.Naval historical /records dept yet. I found their site by accident and there is hell of alot of info that that you would never dream off obtaining this side of the pond without knowing someone or shelling out loads of notes.
