I have been looking at the various photos of the decks on Type vii U Boats and, on showing these to my brother, decided I hadnt a clue how big they are.
I know that cutting the flood holes on the upper deck is a tedious job, but how big are these things on the real ones? I have actually walked over them years ago on 534, but I had no camera and I cant remember them at all. They LOOK about four inches wide in photos, but I really am not sure. Anyone any ideas?
