Just thought fellow submarine modellers might be interested in the sub. I have just completed. There is just the final ballasting to do. It has proved to be quite a challenge! One more for the wolfpack!
I like my U-boats to be heavily weathered as if they have just returned after several months patrol in the North Atlantic. I know this is not to everyone's taste, but they did suffer quite badly as the original photos show. I think the effect looks better when seeing the boat as a whole. Unfortunately, it is difficult to get a good photo as the boat is 76" long. Comments please.

Nice one Reinhard, glad you made it back from the "pens " safe any more of this one ?....and any of the pens ?. Will one day try and get to Norwich.
The targets wouldn't know what hit em !
