Well my Current build is almost done i just need to put some stickers on down the side and she is done its a Griffon 2000 based on the FREE plans from http://www.model-hovercraft.com/2000tdx/2000tdx.html i had to make them a bit longer for my model as its a MK3 version built by Griffon Hoverwork any questions fire away

whats the main body built in, ply or correx ? or what ?
would be interested in knowing what its built in, always thought about doing a 'hovver' - mind you being a yorkshireman i usually build in mateirals that are no longer needed from work !!!!
i dont think lego is light enough for a hovercraft ! :}

she has two motors one for lift and one for thrust lift is an AXI brushless out runner 2808/16 driving a 8x4 prop cut down thrust is a Fusion outrunner 353505 driving a 9.5x5 prop.The esc's are two (one for each motor) fusion brushless about 60 amp batteries are two (one for each motor)9.6v 4600 nimi lift motor will last for 20 approx thrust depends on how fast i go at a guess i would say 10 mins flat out 15 mins taking it easy
she is built form 8.0mm ply on balsa frames and some sheet balsa is used as well as evergreen plastic strips for some of the detail.No lego would not be light enough i have built a small model from correx before but i like working with ply rather than correx
