Firends..i almost stopped kit building for many years, but now i got two lovely boat kits from my Country. i am thanking one of the respected Senior, in my Country for these kits.actually at beginning my intention was to complete the craft as it was.but after completion of the hull structure i decided to add some of my imagination on to craft..and thus my Blue Morph and Brave fisherman born..
i got these kits intact..thanks for the best packing..
-
the kit was simple but elegant..
i took about 20 minutes almost to complete the hull and started with polyester putty..
-
started from keel..and bulkheads..its all simple..i ever seen..
-
hull taking shape..
-
top paving..
and gap filling with polyester putty..
-
so after drying the poly putty, i started with nitro cellulose putty..
finished..up to this moment my intention was to complete the craft according to the instructions..but i added my imagination..to it..whats a craft without some imagination and personal touch..
-
so i started with my own idea..started to adding trimming strips and splash strips..
-
the prop shaft and tube was made out of a radio antenna tube, and from a bicycle spoke.
-
my first decision was to use my home made brush less motor, but its too powerful and some big in dia, and the hand made ESC also some big..so space was a problem..so i added a tiny brush less motor on to craft..
-
so i added a dummy engine to hull..it also acts as a rudder..
-
added a micro servo to actuate the dummy engine as a rudder..an easy connector was fixed for easy fine tuning..
structure is almost complete..
-
added a kort nozzle, and it saves my battery life to a great extent..
it also acts as a froth and bubble generator..
-
now time to painting..i used inexpensive enamel paints and applied with hand brush..
-
the whole window channels were made out of drawing paper and seasoned..
-
painted in aluminum paint..
now with decals..
-
painting in detail..
-
angles..
-
all bollards were made out of ear bud shaft, with brass welding rods..and painted in aluminum paint..
-
now the Brave fisherman..actually this figure is from the ww2 German infantry set, but reworked some with my needs.
now time to run..
-
in water..i left her in sea canal..and controlled by a 2.4 GHz 4 channel radio, with 30 Amps ESC with 1000 rpm /volts BLDC...
-
showing the froth generator mode..its pleasant to see..
-
showing the high performance mode..
-
aqua planing..
-
in hands of Gokul my ever favourite ship and aero model student..he is a nice rider..
showing the froth generator set up..its simple, and all we know how it works. a simple silicon tube is fixed just behind the prop, and a second hole is placed just after the prop.while accelerating the fresh air from outside, sucked in to the venturi, and atomizes with sucked water. so we will get a nice froth and bubbles..yes, reduce the performance to a slight extent..but a pleasant view to see...
