can any one tell me what these pieces of equipment are? and used for please.

Hi Don,

I think you will find that they are Hydraphones they swivel them over the side of the boat to detect any underwater activity from other boats etc.

I have resisted asking this one, but as we are on subject, Why are the torpedoes angled UP in the air?

.........thats feasible..........Hydrophones they swivel them over the side of the boat to detect any underwater activity from other boats etc

the torps angled up.............. presume for despatch......when they go over the side they land slightly nose up .....thats the heavy end..... and track leveler on run ???????????????
