Post by: irishcarguy on September 08, 2011, 06:50:27 AM
Hi all ,I am searching for controls/instruments for bridge layout, is there anywhere that I can buy such things ,I would like them to look real. I tried searching on the forum but drew a blank . Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mick B.

Best bet is to rip apart kids toys, fire engines etc, these usually have chrome dials fittied to side, gauges etc.....

There is also Hobby Lobby Modelbau

I make some lighted options for ASD tugs, but your tug would have different consoles.

I used old circuit boards, drilled through and inserted fibre optics for my tug bridge - http://www.danwalker.co.uk/Harbour_Tug_html/tugpart19.html (http://www.danwalker.co.uk/Harbour_Tug_html/tugpart19.html)
