For those interested in model warships working and static there is a new forum The Model Warship Forum.

The site is member owned, run and led and already covers a substantial number of articles and builds.

Sounds interesting but there seems to be a problem with the registration page on the site, keeps shutting down and going back to start of process.

That sounds like an Internet connection problem. I will see if there is a problem.
We are getting registrations so may be a limited problem or local to your ISP.
Is anyone else having difficulty?

I was able to Join this morning, it did flick back a page without warning as I was about to play type in the words but it came back and all I had to re type was my password

yes I just tried to regeister and having completed the details,it went back a page.tried to log in using the details I had entered,but got informed it was the wrong username.I will try again later,and hope it works,otherwise I shall up anchor and move on.

have you actually receieved the 2nd email informing you that your account is activated , mine was 20 minutes apart :-))

Strange as I think the first is automatic..
Can only think
1. Was your email correct, I know it probably was but ..
2.If your on Bt or Virgin , Ntl etc where you are able to access your emails on line has the return email been sent to the online spam box (if it has you will not see it on your pc at all) not alot of people realise that this exists, and I assume other providers are the same but I only know about the 2 mentioned.
Just some thoughts.. :-))

Tried again just now....Just goes back to the begining of the sign in script after you change the languagre option to British English from the default American English...
Perhaps try again some time in the future...Shame as it looked and interesting Forum.

So what's the difference between this one and the Modelwarshipsuk forum - seems a bit daft to have 2 forum for exactly the same subject matter, especially as it's such a niche area.

Try without changing the language option, the fewer changes the better.
Also if you can zoom the screen image to see the fuzzy letters better. Later versions of Internet explorer allow this.
We are getting registrations so the system is working.

thought I had posted this already,but dont see it anywhere. I am now a member of the Model Warship Forum,so persistance paid off in the end. Just off to find my way round the site.

Peter have you tried to log on - I haven't received my registration e-mail and after a couple of days tried to log on and
got straight into the site.

When opening the web page I get a message telling me I am permanently banned because I have tried registering with TWO email addresses, which I havent.
Tried using the given liink for more information re the two email addresses, but it was classed as undeliverable.
Looks as if I am doomed to failure on this site.
