another relic from 18 04 05 my receipt for 500lts of oil £154 yesterday  orded 500lts price £314 inflation ??? my first gallon of petrol was one shilling and eleven pence  1947 first wage £2 10 shiilings ah that {-) were the days

Hi i know what you mean i will soon have to top up my tank  and i dread what the bill will be .Had to replace the boiler last year agreed it was 31years old and a bit past it,s best but try 2500 quid ouch the upside is it will out last a gas one by 20 years .
