Title: Help with Identification of this tug.. Please.
Post by: NickKK on September 30, 2011, 02:59:16 am
I bought a tug ... half built .. The models name is .. or was going to be Tenacious. The history of the boat I recieved with the model was that it is going to be an ex steamer .. convertted to diesel. Owned at one time by the SHIP TOWAGE [LONDON] LIMITED. The single round stack has that companie's emblem on the funnel. The main super structure if flat front faced, flying bridge either side of the wheel house. (Gives up and will post a photo of the model later in the day )

I have looked on the internet and can find reference to 'a'  tug called Tenacious but no pictures and no company info

The other one I have alot of information on .. the tug Bon Church ... Any one know if she is still on the Sankey canal? ... at Penketh I think she was last heard of from what I can find out ...
