Title: my envoy build
Post by: phil45 on October 09, 2011, 11:26:20 am
Hi all i have just started my envoy/slipway build... i shall post a few pics but won't go mad with details as it has been done far better than i will achieve on previous posts. This is my first kit build, as years ago i did scratch build speed semi scale stuff. I must say i am not too keen on the use of plastics (old dog new tricks) so as you will see i have used timber instead. Any coments are appreciated even to say i have mucked up!! I would say...SWEET!
I wish I would have taken the time to do the inner frame of wood like you!

All mahogany framing oak for the bilge keels and  oak for the rudder which i have just finished today...not sure if i will use it now though as it won't look so nice just painted ...i would like to see the wood and just varnish it maybe (http://i589.photobucket.com/albums/ss334/phil45/DSC00532.jpg)
