Title: Another Snogg Class
Post by: Chaparro1973 on October 18, 2011, 09:38:12 am
It's my first boat build. I have some experience on airplanes but never tried boat modeling.

I found the 2 parts PDF plans and found the interesting.

The main problem is the lack of detail.

Starting the hull.

Filling the gaps with foam, that will be covered with depron, then sanded and finished with fiberglass.

Little word of warning, not only does expanding foam keeps expanding long after you put it in, it also expands and contracts in different weathers. Not an ideal material for hull construction.
