Title: A (hopeful) request.
Post by: Bryan Young on October 21, 2011, 04:40:33 pm
You must all be fed up to the remaining back teeth with me and my computer ignorance. Sorry about that.
Is yhere anyone else "out there" that has a Canon i9900 scanner? My installation disc appears to have become corrupted and so I'm stuck. Begging for help....Bryan Young.

Bryan I had similar problems when I tried to install a new Kodak printer/scanner and had to get in touch with their hllpline.
They asked permission to take over my computor and some geek in South Africa unistalled and then re-installed it for me
and its worked ever since
Sure Canon must have a similar service.

Something like this?

http://www.canon.co.uk/Support/Consumer_Products/products/scanners/CanoScan_series/CanoScan_9900F.aspx

Most manufacturers have a web appearance, usually, hidden well away, there is a support page with drivers for their range of products.

Malcolm, thank you, you've made my day / week! I tried this site a few days ago without success..but it worked this time.
Let's hope I can get on with my current project. Thanks again. Bryan.
