Title: A few Tenby Lifeboat Photos

a few weeks ago i found myself in Tenby and so i visited the lifeboat house. im not building the model but anyone who is might find these few photos helpful. Sorry there isnt many, but hopefully theyll come in handy for someone

Just to be accurate that Tamar in the Tenby boathouse isn't the Station boat  (16-02, Haydn Miller)  but the a relief Lifeboat ( 10-06, Frank and Anne Wilkinson).

Still nice pictures though !!    :-))

thanks, they were just pictures i took on my phone.
is that the reason that the lifeboat hasnt got the name "tenby" on the back, or am i just imaginine things  :-)

and thanks Ken, no im playing with helicopters at the moment, but still have my warship and tug to tinker with every now and then :)

that's right Dan.
relief boats don't have a station name on the transom.
and another clue is that they (relief boats ) usually have red antifouling so that they can be kept afloat.
More of the Tamar slip launched boats these days are painted with an off white boot topping as in the old days when all slip launched station boats were painted white underneath.
