Ian Oddie (1/5 car guy) has been known to do the odd marine motor as has Alro racing I believe.

Hi Dee
I would definitely recommend Dave Marles from Prestwich Model boats link given above in the earlier thread.
However in wanting your boat to go faster, have you exhausted the other key opportunities? Like a good tuned pipe and set at the correct length. Like experimenting with propellers for best performance working them to ensure that they are very sharp for maximum performance.
Have you got the carb settings set for maximum performance?
My current Lynx gas boat runs well on a stock Zen 260PUM and that came from Dave Marles.

My next boat on order from Dave Marles of PMB, will come with a Zen7 tuned engine and should be much quicker if I build it correctly.
Cheers

Yep, was going to post links to both of them. Oddified are probably the best tuner out there imo.

In terms of Dave Marles from Prestwich Model boats, this clip of his Zenoah 7 powered proto type Sigma filmed some time ago demonstrates to me personally that he knows his stuff when running marine Zenoahs:
Filmed actions I think speak louder than words. Judge this clip for yourself. Personally it impressed me big time.

I have a Zen 7 from Dave. Nice motor, plenty of power and good rpm. Love it in my Sigma.
