Hi Model Boaters:
I am intrested in the Stan Tug 1907, Read the artical in this month Model Boats. I wrote seivers in Germany but did not get much info from him. 40mm Knozzles are a little to small in my thinking with a boat comes in at 19. 5 lbs, even in those small Kort Knozzles an Prop shops 4 bladed Kort Props. Can anybody help me.

Am I imagining things or did some one do a build review in one of the boat mags?

There is a posting elsewhere on the forum about it...
I am using a GRP Hull from MMB,s tug kit...I have fitted a single 73mm Steerable Kort Nozzle... Power is from a 12 volt Marx Decaperm Motor driving a 70mm 4 bladed Kort Prop...A working Bow Thruster is also fitted...
Here is a picture of the build so far...
I got a bit of info from Damen and allso from their Web Site...

Hi tugnut:
That is what the call us in seattle is tugnuts, Lots of us build nothing but tugs , several build Fireboats and some cruisers.
When I get the Kit that I ordered, the plan is to use 1.6 inch with a 20 pitch Kort Props from Prop Shop in UK. I will use robbe 5 to 1 motors and try to us about 15 amp- batteries in the boat, should give plenty of
ballast. I thought the 40 mm korts were rather small but we see. The picture you posted is not the 1907 but one of there other models.
WE keep you posted
