The reason was Yannis. :} The first time as I saw his pics, I startet to plan this sub for my next project. So I got contact with Yannis and after a while we made a deal. Till the parts are ready I started to draw the technics with CAD.

The next step was to make the technic frames. A friend got a CNC portal mill. So I send him the data and we made a weekend mill session.

The last weekend I started to assembling the parts. If they are CNC milled that goes very fast, because each part is very exact. So I made some turning brass parts like the bearing bush and some nuts. The batteries later lie between the brass bars in the middle. You can also see the compressors. The diving system will work with compressed air. We subscribed it a few posts ago. If you want to know something feel free to ask.

The last days I assembled the main ballast tank. In the box are the scopes later. The box itself is dry.

In case of an crash or hard touch with the pond wall, the fix part of the rudder (dont know the right word) can be destroyed. So I made the desicion to build the parts new with 2.5mm fiber glass inlays. I made some silicon molds and made the rudder parts in resin with cotton flocc. I also build the rudder bearings. It seals with two O-Rings.

Small CAD update. I try to made one module for motormount, servos and speedcontroller. So I planned a ring that is bonded with the stern. There are 4 thread bolt in the ring to hold the complete module.
