Title: Motor Supressors
Post by: Tralee on March 28, 2007, 08:59:17 pm
I have recently purchased from Model Slipway a Drumbeat of Devon model kit.
I intend running this on two Graupner 600 Eco 7.2v motors, do these motors require supressors? and if so any help with type  and supplier etc would be appreciated

Hi Trailee

Its is advisable to install all motors with suppressors  you will req 3 in total  one between the motor terminal's and the other 2 from each motor terminal to motor can. the value of these should 104 pf  any good model shop should have these in stock  if not contact  all components  on  01981 540781  also very good for small bulbs and cable also  hope this helps. Do you have a Maplins shop in your area if so you will be able to get them there. :)

Hi Trailee
most of the graupner motors i have come across have internal suppressors.
But if you are not sure then I dont think that fitting another set will hurt,
but then someone on here will correct you if I am wrong.
