Title: Calder Craft Sir Kay

I'm finally finishing the model of the Calder Craft Sir Kay trawler-minesweeper that I started before my first child was born ( he's now in the Air Force, 20 years old).  I did not like the acoustic hammer over the bows, so I have finished her as the Sir Geraint, not equipped for acoustic sweeping.  I much prefer the well weathered look to ships, as you can see.  I am hunting around for "deck clutter" that would be found on a well-run ship of this type and would welcome any ideas?  I don't want to represent a single instant in time though, with crew poised in mid-something - it has to look a feature as the ship cruises around the harbour here at home, though.
Any suggestions welcome !

A beautiful model and excellent photography too. I see you have a working anchor. Not sure about the deck clutter though. Would she have had any, being a disciplined navel vessel?

Thanks for the kind comments.  I'm afraid the anchor is "manual" at the moment, but I intend one day to make a simple mechanism that will drop it, clamp it and then reel it back in slowly with some slip built in to avoid ripping it off when it runs out of chain on the way back up.
She's a very seaworthy little ship, pitching in to the waves and shoving them aside in a very satisfying way, with a slow and heavy motion. (for a wee model, that is).
