Only if you know what you're doing......like anything in life, practice makes perfect!

I should have made myself more clearer, im just starting up after 10year lay off through ill health, i never had a problem with korts spinning the boat etc etc, its just that these units are nr the front  {:-{

Adage still applies, you need to get her on the water and see the effect that the z-drives make - usually a lot more maneuverable than 'normal' screws and rudders. With the right inputs she should go sideways  as well as in the normal directions

Hi there
Which drives are they?
if they are the Robbe ones (small red kort type) you may find that they are limited in turning
If they are either of the Graupner types then they should be fine so long as your servo motors are powerful enough to over come the thrust from the props.
they will make your vessel very agile in deed and as grasshopper says practice will lavish benefits on you down the lake.

I have a tug with twin ASD (Z drive) and a springer with one in great fun and very controllable in a duck chase (game with plastic ducks that you have to round up)

They are the graupner ASD (shottle) or Z drive the same as in the Tito Neri build
You will find them very good at maneuvering the vessel and depending on servo throw it will "walk or crab" very well

Wishing you long and happy sailing with your new requisition
