How does it dive- no ballast system mentioned. If it's dynamic things should get interesting trying keep it under at the waterline shown in the piccies!

Think thats going to be a dynamic diver I can still remember my U47 making all that splishy sploshy water at the prop end when you dived her to steeply was still a great deal of fun and what a start in the black art of model submarines  :-))

If it's a dynamic diver, ballast it down to decks awash, and if it hasn't already got one, fit a leveller.

Hi,

in a german forum someone ask Graupner how the dive system works. The Graupner employee told them that there is no diving system. Maybe in future they plan to sell a divingsystem. My opinion: too much for a non diving, non scale "pseudosub"

regards

Sascha

There's not even any mention of the dive planes (tiefenruder) being controlled, which is a bit alarming.

The pics show it diving, so it must be a dynamic diver. should be easy to add a small ballast bag to so it dives easier.

Robbe boat comes with electric motors, nothing else. Also the Graupner boat is listed as GRP construction, as opposed to Robbe's ABS, and is a kit versus RTR.

@£670 its not that expensive,....considering that almost everything is done, ..the Robbie kit costs over £300, then there,s the build + the electrics, + the pain of not getting the removable front end to look as if its part of the hull, "that join is a bugbear"
