Title: lifeboat

Whilst reading the "sun" newspaper,on page 19 at the top r/h corner it beggers belief.some idiot traffic warden threatened to ticket a "lifeboat" it was parked on yellow lines to stop vechicles blocking it`s launch.The council ammitted ther`s been a couple of mistakes.

Yes but lifeboats have a single yellow line all around them so they should be able to do a limited stay. {-)

There is no accounting for stupid people, it happens all the time, we have all seen it & find it hard to believe sometimes.Mick B.

I actually watched a traffic warden put a ticket on an ambulance while they were dealing with a someone in the back and had the blue lights on.

I confronted the TW and his reply was "A double yellow is a double yellow" and walked off

If it was a Mersey Class I would love to see them put a wheel clamp on a Talus tractor !!  {-) 

It wouldn't even notice when it moved off.
