Title: There's an App for that?
Post by: TailUK on March 02, 2012, 10:36:45 am
I'd been discussing the subject with a "phonehead" at work after he saw me with my R/C set up.  I though it was interesting.

Theres another 1 around, think it's called 'i-fly' mainly for planes and cars, but can work with boats, it uses the accelerometer to control whatever it is you're using, the app is free but the add-on, which plugs into the charging socket on the iphone, is about £90 I think.

Last week I bought a Parot AR Drone, can fly with an iPhoneor better still iPad

It's so easy to fly, has two cameras and vids are transmitted to the iPad .  Great fun
