Title: 24v Scooter Motors for Serious Power
Post by: Tug Fanatic on March 20, 2012, 12:54:47 pm: Car heater motors are becoming very difficult to find but there are a range of "24v scooter motor" on ebay (MY6812) that are rated at 80w, 100w, 120w, 150w and are all around the £20 mark & look similar to the MMM T12 T24 motors.

Has anybody tried them? Has anybody tried them at 12v?

I have 4or5 of these 24volt scooter motor in the shed i would take £5 each + postage will have to get a price they are heavy motor's
These are not a bad motor i use them in my tug towing tugs only £12 each posted

I have a 12volt one in a 56inch tug but still a lot of work to do on before i get to test it on the water

Update on the motor's all sold now thanks to them that ask about them :-))
