Title: 24v Scooter Motors for Serious Power
Post by: Tug Fanatic on March 20, 2012, 12:54:47 pm
Car heater motors are becoming very difficult to find but there are a range of "24v scooter motor" on ebay (MY6812) that are rated at 80w, 100w, 120w, 150w and are all around the £20 mark & look similar to the MMM T12 T24 motors.

Has anybody tried them? Has anybody tried them at 12v?

Hi Jason,

These motors have come up several times on Mayhem, have you a video clip of them in action?

Ministeve has used 12v ones I think but they are no longer available. Is this 24v & if so what voltage are you running it at?
