My new project is a Cargo/Passenger vessel built in 1895. She was fitted with 4 steam cranes with barrel (winch) ends. I am struggling to find drawings of this type of crane. Anyone help? BY

What is the name of the ship? Steam cranes were few & far between in that era, but there were some. Most ships used steam winches & derricks.

Launched as "Leona" by J.Reid (Port Glasgow) for Humber Steam Shipping Co. Bought by Hudsons of Sunderland and re-named General Havelock. She was a coastal passenger/cargo vessel 201'x29'x13'.
