Title: Brushless for bow thruster?

I am making a bow thruster for a tug that would normally use a soft 540 motor driving racing type prop in a 40mm waste pipe:

Unfortunately I need to keep the whole istallation as short as possible and also to run the motor at 12v. Would someone be kind enough to recommend a physically small brushless outrunner motor that will turn a slightly cut down 40mm racing prop?

As an aside there is a lot of information about brushless motors & aero props but nothing about boats. Is there a sensible way of using the aero data for boat props?

A 28 mm X 22 mm (KA22-20) 1000 Kv, (try to find a lower Kv if possible) motor will do that, or if you can fit a 42 mm diameter motor that's about 20 mm thick a DT700 or DT750.
