Hello,
I am at the EARLY stages of work on a 1/24 RAF Rescue Launch whaleback. The one I am doing, I have a 1/72 airfix model as an example and plans in 1/24. I need a source for the vickers anti aircraft guns, as best described, the ones in the gunner`s bubble bays, there were Three of those locations according to the 1/72 model.
Can anyone post a link to a dealer of good detailed weapons for that boat?
Thanks in advance for your help.
George
P.S. Did the original have a planked deck that was angled at 45 degrees towards the centre of the deck if looked down upon? There is one built here in my area that has this look and has been entered into several shows and wins in it`s class. NOT sure if that`s a fancy look or original had the same deck.
Thanks again.

Good Day George and Peter
You have to be careful of the dean's marine weapons, I brought the Vickers .5 mg's and 20mm Oerlikons in 1/24 scale, they were actually 1/32 scale.

Hi only have a couple of photos left of the whalebacks and only too poor ones of the deck - but if you have a look at the officer’s feet on the left at the deck you will see it runs at 45 deg to the centre line of the deck and the next photo with the man standing aft you can make out thedeck a bit better
