Way, way back in time, myself, my brother in law and his cousin used to race ic engined stock cars at tracks in Worthing and Haywards Heath (Sussex)...anybody else ever race these things? We did go to Leicester once, which was the nerve centre of stock car racing...got severely trounced there!
Pics show my very first Mardave car, Enya .19 motor, and painted in my late brother's company's colours.

And this pic is of my Ke'Jon stock car, Veco .19 motor and painted in Pickford's Removals colours (left of pic) brother in law's Mardave and cousin's Mardave.

Nope, far to young me :} :} but they look really cool cars, a bit quicker than my sons 6volt plastic ferrari..

Mardave cars, always wanted one after seeing them at a Sandown Park show ... in it's good old days!

That's right, we went there with them...blimey, making me feel old now, Martin! A name springs to mind...Dave Wragg, came from Leics, believe he was British Champion.

Wow, that's jogged my memory a bit!! I too first saw them racing at Sandown, and immediately bought a Mardave and a Super Tigre motor. For some reason it never got finished and I can't remember what happened to it, all lost in the mists of time, like a lot of things.
