Title: Copyright

Whilst it relates to OZ, very interesting.

It may have some pertinence to our forum and the "concerns" expressed by some, of the forums liability, about posters breaching copyright by posts on this forum.

Basically Australian law is founded on UK law.

It would appear that the Australian courts whilst upholding copright protections, have ensure that freedom of access for all to that copyright information remains, eg, the reference to law changes to allow libraries to provide copying facilities.

Interesting but as regards Librarys , to my knowledge you are allowed to copy 10% of a book as long as it is for reference, and that due reference is given to the original ownership of said text and that it is not used for any financial gain.
