:-) Greetings to Mayhemmer friends past present and future! Following the Great Meltdown of March 2012 I have now reissued myself under the above avatar, new name but just like the old model really, I am still terribly prone to buying RTR boats with the aim of (eventually !) converting them to proper radio and brushless, still spending too long on here and not long enough in the workshop, still have to post a few pics of anything that I have actually built/modified/sailed/designed...business as usual really!
Most of all, a great big thank-you to Martin and the Moderators for my successful re-issue and for the post-Meltdown cleanup. :-)

which part of Ayrshire are you from as Im in that neck of the woods

Hi folks thanks it's nice to be back after the Meltdown, can you believe that during the great Mayhem famine of 2012 I even went into the workshop (shed; I just like to sound posh sometimes): amazing what some people can be made to do when desperate! %% Graham, nice to hear too from a local bod, I am in Irvine at the moment, where do you sail?
Andy
PS Martin sir I know that you are busy and everything what with being a dynamic Forum owner etc. and general good egg, only I was just wondering if i could have my pre-Meltdown post count of 102 or thereabouts back...I am in danger of punting a radio set or two and a Deans Royal Barge (in need of fitting out)...have to fund this month's supply of bread and water!

We will allow posting in Sales by members we know from old, even though the count has been re-started.
Fear not. Sell away.

Hi Graham,
Would be good to see her on the water, where's your pond of choice? Only I was walking past the Newton (?) pond along the shore just a few weeks ago and it was still drained...any news of it being filled up and usable in the future? Ho hum Irvine Magnum pond for me when I finally get one of our family RTR boats fettled with 'proper' radio etc!
Hi arrow5,
LOVED THE CARRIER! but who are all those giant people to the RHS of the photo? I mean that bloke in the red t-shirt, he must be a good 70 feet tall! :o

Something wrong about that photo.
Have been to Ayr but there is no snow, it is in tropical Nth Queensland O0 O0 {-) {-)

Gunner the pic was taken in the Cairngorm Mountain`s, a ski resort, a good bit north of Ayr. Ayr has a decent beach and is a favourite holiday destination, doesnt have tropical climate though :(( Andrew , wee Vinny has eight Sea Harriers, converted from 1/24th scale Airfix kits with the "navy" radome nose and drooping inlet flaps. Plus four scratch Sea Kings. Working on Merlins at the moment. You have a PM
