Title: plank size
Post by: Daryl on April 10, 2007, 04:32:56 pm
Just about to start a model of HMS Lion the WW1 battlecruiser. Am I right in thinking at this period the average width of the deck planks were 9 inches and teak? or am I barking up the wrong tre.

It was usually 9" for a Cruiser and 11"  for a Battleship
