Title: Pennant Help
Post by: mike_victoriabc on May 04, 2012, 02:18:43 am
I have a American Coast Guard cutter - asked to run it at a function with a group of naval ships - thought it should have a set of pennants to help celebrate the function - what would I put on this ans where might I find them? I'm a tug guy and this is out of my area! It is 1/48, about 50 inches long with a fore and aft mast on it - so pennants/bunting? would set it off well.

Any help / ideas would be appreciated, function is at month end so time to order if I'm quick.

Hi Mike,

Look on http://cgvi.uscg.mil/media/main.php There seem to be thousands of photos of their boats/ships in various stages of dress/undress.

Further to the links posted by Tony and Richard - I ordered flags from ModelFlags.com on Tuesday last week - they arrived in the mail at my office this morning! They look great and should do the job.

Thanks for the help.
