Title: Scale Rulers
Post by: Bob K on May 21, 2012, 07:45:24 pm
Came across this useful set of scale printable rulers.  30 sizes ranging from 1/12 to 1/2500 scales.  Several rulers on each PDF sheet, with both metric and imperial scales.  Simply open the file for the scale you are building to, download the file, then print on your printer.

Useless! They don't have 1:9.3!  {-)

Can't be bothered with scale rulers - I use my well-worn slide rule to easily convert one scale to another.  Anything to anything, so, rmaddock, this way you CAN easily convert any scale to your 1:9.3 or vice versa  ok2

Robin:  Personally, I like to create one to one templates for parts and assemblies I am recreating.  However, I came across this handy printable tool and thought I'd share it for those who might find it useful.  Often when something that scales to say 8.7 mm, it can be easier to measure say two foot rather than 'guesstimate' 8.7 from a steel rule for those who don't have a digital vernier.

Bob.  I should have qualified my comment by writing that I also use a 300mm dial calipers for accurate measurements!
