Today saw the maiden voyage of my Robbe Atlantis, renamed Lady Marion after my late mum who passed away last year.
The pictures are taken at Derby Model Boat Club Regatta yesterday.

Very nice indeed. They are a beautiful model...wouldn't mind one myself.
Is she, maybe, a little heavy in the bows? She looks that way in the pictures but perhaps they're just unlucky shots?
Still a nice boat though. :-))

Thank you for the comment, yes she was heavy at the bow, when I did the initial check on how she sat in the water she was riding high at the bow, so I introduced two 6v lead acids
into her, but after seeing her Sunday I have now removed one of them, plus I need to put my last sail winch directly onto the battery as at the moment its going through the receiver,
so at times I was was getting random reactions, i.e. motor cutting in for no reason or her bell would start chiming.
Hopefully that will cure it.
Steve.

Very very nice indeed, post some more pics next time you're out, it's not a boat you see every day :-))

Lovely boat.
I am a big fan of the Atlantis.

Thank you for your comments, I was very nervous first time out, but she was so easy to handle and very forgiving.
As I said a few teaching problems but nothing major, my biggest challenge is getting her genoa sail working, I'm nearly there just having problems with the track warping in the warm weather, plus I'm not taking any risks and fitting a bilge pump.
Anyway many thanks
Steve.
