Title: Cherry B deck edge
Post by: deerstalker36 on June 10, 2012, 08:58:13 am
Ok, first (ish) post....

i've been reading up on how to put the deck on my 1/96 Cherry B. I can see how to put a flush deck using a rim around the inside of the hull, but how would i make the rounded off deck edge of a leander.  {:-{
would i fit a flush deck then add another layer slightly wider incorporating the round off of the deck?

cheers

Colin

It's probably the only deck that you would mount on top of the hull then round off.

Hi,

Put a balsa square block attached to the hull sides and deck at the desired height then just sand down to correct profile. Or plasticard.
