Title: Patrick & Blunt County Class Destroyer
Post by: pettyofficernick on June 21, 2012, 05:42:01 pm
Hi there, I have just acquired this model and I am going to restore it as far as I can,. Anyone ever owned one or seen one before? At first I thought it was to 1/128th scale but a quick calculation brings it in at 1/148th, a bit of an odd scale, I was hoping to be able to use commercially available fittings, I know Midway Models of Leicester sell small fittings but they don't appear to have a website. The model its self is well made, but has suffered the ravages of time and a lot of the smaller parts are either broken or missing, luckily the plans and instructions came with it, but no mention of scale. The radio is ancient, but still in its original box, I plan to replace the RC gear and fit an esc. Any help with info etc would be gratefully received.
Many Thanks,
Regards,
Nick
