Title: Thunder 2 with RCMK/J&G

Few pics of my latest project, Thunder 2 from Prestwich fitted with RCMK/J&G.
Bought the boat used from a UK boater, fixed a few things and recently seen water. Hope to race it later in the year.

Boat gave me grief to start with, wouldn't run on the water. Great on the dock, no problems, threw it in and it would run a short distance and die. Took 3/4 weeks of trying just about everything until I found the cause, the spark lead shorted out when the cowl got wet!!!!

Hi Ian

It is great to see a topic on the Prestwich Thunder. Excellent photos.

Yours caught my eye with much interest simply because I am in the process of building one from scratch.
Yours looks like a mean beast of a machine and if you get chance to video it in action please to share the clip with us.
