Title: Understanding Brushless Motors

Hi guys

Can any body help me with understanding Brushless motors, How do i know say the equivalent of a speed 600 is?

Is there a chart available to help me understand revolutions and voltage.

Any help would be appreciated.

A good start is to find what you have already :}
There are about 47000 different speed 600s , and that is just from Graupner
The best thing is to find exactly what the name is, or even better the graupner part number and find it in motocalc
http://www.motocalc.com/data/motor.html

For example:
Graupner Speed 600 BB 7.2V #1787
 2638
 2.800
 0.0960
 6.90

This has a kv (revs per volt) of 2638

Then you can look for a brushless with similar KV  - then it should do the same prop-driving job , but being more efficient with much more power

Then, as people have said  get a real translation from   debssnal
