This is my USS North Carolina BB55, scratch built to a scale of 1/96, she is 7ft-7 inches long, 13 inches wide, and displaces 75 lbs, she took 2 years to build.

A very impressive model Ron. That class was a very effective battleship design.

Yes Colin, she was the forunner of all the American battleships in WW11, thats why she was called The Show Boat, she went out on trials that many times and had her photo taken.
-
Another one of Rons remarkable models. When you visit his place, it's like entering a Naval Base.

Hi, 2 more photo,s of North Carolina taken at ELLESMERE PORT STEAM BOAT MUSEUM SHOW, Port and starboard shot.

Very very nice indeed, you have built some very impressive models. Where do you keep all these large models? If I had one, it would fill up my spare room.

I have 5 in my shed, 3 in my computer room, 3 in my garage, ron h
