im currently repairing a very large WW2 favourite class lend lease tug , the construction is a little unusual in that the frames were skinned in fine wire mesh and coated in car body repair filler ! knowing this is pourus im giong to coat in a gell coat proir to painting , the model itself is some 55 inches long , the hall anchors supplied are just 2 3/16 " tall 1 3/16" wide across the base , which look " lost " against the hull sides . has anybody got any ideas what size the anchors ought to be please ? jon
