I usually build scratch with wood but for a change I am building a Graupner kit with an ABS hull and superstructure. Normally I use Car sprays Hi-coat by choice. Whats best for ABS?

I use Plasticote which you can get from Halfords.
You could also try:

Hi Boater,
Whatever paint you use please don't forget to wash off the hull with 'Hairy' liquid or similar and even key the surface to get rid of mould release agents and/or static which can cause the new paint to pel off.

If you are building a warship and just need primer try Amazon as they are cheaper than Halfords.

Wilkinsons are cheap for Plasicote, but ours doesn't have a vast range of colours.
The Range also sell it fairly cheap.
Homebase are the dearest £2 more than Wilko !!!
