the wooden boxs in pics are to stop water entering boat the one under the prop shaft to stop water coming in the boat when operating in a stern propulsion the ones by the windows (not all done (these are the internal lofts but will just fill gap with grey balsa )) will stop anywater from around the join there was a moulded one up bow (was there originally ) in case of large bow wave there are 2 at the back as lots of water (knowing me ) will come in when going astern maiden voyage on sunday then the details go on also the lego white things at the front are because when at half throtle in bath she was very powerful and i wanted something fairly quick so in the event of an emergency i can move quickly but being flat bottomed she would lift out the water and plane these are to stop that happening

Thats not a high quality Micron receiver going in that model is it????
Shouldn't they be saved for your subs?

Pat Matthews did one of these conversions "for the hell of it" and it pushed a mighty bow wave with that blunt bow. Cannot seem to find pictures of it.

Make sure you have lots of foam buoyancy in the empty spaces. :-))
