Post by: dave301bounty on August 20, 2012, 05:39:53 pm
Is there anyone on this site ,or knows anyone from around the Merseyside area who built a model of the James Lamey .? I did see the tug sailing on the old lake at new brighton some 8 years ago ,and spoke to the chap who built her however have now lost all contact, and wish to get in touch ,I have been in the process ,on /off building this fantastic tug ,full of character ,but need some serious information ,the one I saw sailing was built to a very high quality and I would like to get in touch again .Hope some one can help . thank you .

Norseman ,your right ,my mistake ,she was the Flying Eagle ,from the Glasgow tug firm .i,ve got nearly all the gear to start /.but just need a bit of advice ,from the chap whose model i saw years ago ,she was a good looker and would not be out of place now with all your modern looking tugs ,incidently i got a hold of a good pic of the engine room ,absolutely rare as   but that,s that for now ,will wait .thanks all.
