Title: Cast Bronze Prop

apart from Prop Shop, does any one know of anyone that can cast a prop in Bronze?

of course i am looking for someone in the UK....

i have a friend here in Germany that requires some Props for a new submarine he is building..

I like bronze and over the years occasionally did a search for bronze castings. Sadly engineering in the UK is a pale shadow these days and most of the 'bronze' seems to be statues made from resin bronze. From what I've seen a lot of our specialist stuff gets done in Germany now (like the boiler for Tornado), so you may have more luck over there :)

There may be foundries here that could help, but they aren't exactly high profile. You could try contacting some of those that do proper bronze works of art but they'll probably be expensive.

there are lots of firms doing castings it depends on how many you want if they have to set up for one it is very expensive, there are lots of people who do there own castings and one offs for mates in the model engineering world.
