Anyone recognise this ESC?
What's the button for?

No really useful clues, but somebody was asking about one a while back - http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160653
Since the button, switch and ply panel would seem to be user add-ons, they are anybody's guess.

No idea, but going by the small amount of output transistors, I wouldn't put too much curent through it.

What's the button for?
Some small ESCs just plug into the battery, and then have a button to 'arm' them. Here's an example - I use these a lot in eezebilts:
