Hi all,
today I'll show you some pictures of my tugboat "Blazer" which is now nearly finished.
The modell is scratch built from a plan but I did several changes on it.
The size is appr. 85x17x48 cm, the scale is 1:35.
There are only standard functions, no steam, lights, sound or what ever.
Hope you like it - if not don't hesitate to tell me why.
Regards Stephan

Lovely job....from the MAP plans? the Blazer is on my list of models to make after I retire.
did you follow the plans and make it bread and butter, if so what timber did you use for the hull? And what have you powered it with?
-
Hi all,
thanks for the replays.
The plan is from Model Maker Plan Service.
I do not need it any more - if you are interested send me an PN.
I started to build the modell in 1994 thats why I can't tell you what kind of wood I used.
Added some Pictures of the inside.

Thanks for the offer Stephan, I too have a set of plans bought years ago from MAP.
I notice that you have planked the hull rather than the suggested method of bread and butter and lots of shaping. How did you decide on bulkheads and frames to get the right size for the planking?
Blokey was complimenting you on the very nice stand, he would like to make one similar for his tug 'Beacon'.
Don't worry about your grasp of the English language, there are some on here who are English/ British and still struggle, what is your 'mother tongue'?

Hi stephan
i like the stand the boat sits on I will make the same for beacon. ok2

Hi,
I build the modell as drawn on the plan.
I never thought about the bread and butter method.
Do you know anything about the original Blazer?
Are there any pictures or any other informations about it?
Blockey, thanks for the compliment - this kind of stand would sure look good together with your beacon and it is easy to build.
By the way - I live in a small town some 20 Km south of Stuttgart in German.
