Title: Sailing newbie
Post by: nipper2803 on October 04, 2012, 12:36:20 pm
Hello im Glyn AKA Nipper. I have just bought my first yacht after failing with rc planes. I thought it would be good to teach my son how to sail. I did try teaching him how to fly but first time he crashed it and that was the flying finished lol.

I currently live in Christchurch in Dorset. Once my yacht arrives i will give it a naming ceremony lol then i will post pics.

I use to teach sailing so know a bit about bigger boats.

Hope to meet some of you if your local to me. :-))

Hello Glyn and welcome to Mayhem.  I've moved your post over to the Yachting section to help in your quest for yachties.

That's a lovely part of the coast you live. I'm sure there must be some good sailors down that way.   :}

Cheers
