Title: Your support needed.

Following the break in and theft of £20,000 of stock at Fareham Model Shop and Raceway the charity is having difficulty in making ends meet. If you live in the Fareham area or within travel distance please visit their shop. The are mainly into cars, planes and helicopters but they do have a selection of secondhand model boats in addition to lipo batteries, brushless motors and other useful bits.

See website for directions although items shown for sale may not be current so check first.

These guys deserve a break.

***Topic tidied up***

This is a simple request to support a local trader.
The OP says they have not connection with the trader other than as a customer.

Unhelpful posts have been deleted.
Please stay on topic.

For anyone who may be able to help recover items stolen from Fareham Models, a list was posted on RCHeliaddict.co.uk on 28/09/2012.
I've copied it below, but feel that a major opportunity has been missed by not placing it here especially as we were still making requests for a list on 30/09/2012.

"Helis Stolen

Hi all.

Last Saturday/Sunday(22 &23rd sept.), our local hobby shop/ indoor flying warehouse was broken in to, and a lot of gear was stolen.
The shop is run as a charity to raise funds for the disabled sailors charity, which operates out of the warehouse as well. I don't know the exact amount of gear stolen, but I will try to get more details this weekend. The helis that went missing are 3 or poss 4 align 250's and at least 2 align 450's. An RC canal barge (approx 3 to 4 foot long) was taken, as well as numerous transmitters. Mainly RC car Tx's, but a few plane/ heli Tx's too. A whole board full of brand new Align 250 parts, all in Align bags, all the 250 size lipos (overlanders, I believe), a fairly large amount of Align 450 spares BNIB.
A few RC cars and various bits and bobs. Sorry for the sketchy info, but just had a brainwave to post about it on here!!

One of the 250's and one 450 was a customers' in the shop for sale and most of the rest of the helis, belonged to Tim, the owner. One of which was in a huey fuselage that Tim alone can identify (can't say how). Unfortunately, Tim and his wife were on holiday at the time, and had to cut their well earned break short, so even more frustration for them!! They have contacted all model shops and clubs within a 70 mile radius and alerted the BMFA as well, so have tried to cover all bases, but no harm in all of us keeping an eye or ear open huh?

I will update the post as soon as I can get a more accurate count of what is missing, but please PM me in the mean time, if you are offered or see an unusually large amount of BNIB spares for sale, or dirt cheap 250 and 450's.
Tim and Pat (and other staff) have worked and do work tirelessly in the shop and RC racetrack, staying open until 10:30PM 4 nights a week and really don't deserve this! (does anyone??)

Thanks for reading,
Andy (pug907)"
